The Animal Health Library provides both print and electronic resources for students, residents, and faculty in the College of Veterinary Medicine. The  Animal Health Library

The AHL in Wegner Hall Rm. 170 provides comfortable group and quiet study areas, campus and CVM computers, CVM course reserve books, a current journals reading area, one study room, and knowledgeable and friendly assistants.


Use online databases to locate journal articles on a topic. Use the Databases tab for a list of the databases most relevant to veterinary medicine.

References in most databases will include FindIt!atWSU icons that will link to ejournal articles. Use Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery  to order articles that are not available electronically. You must be logged in to SearchIT with your network ID and password for interlibrary loan to be offered as an option.

Remote access

All online journals, databases, and ebooks are accessible 24/7 from WSU campus locations or remotely by logging in to SearchIT with your WSU network ID and password, or by downloading the proxy bookmarklet.
