Census 2000: To identify tract boundaries in Spokane or Yakima, see the book in the reference collection in each location:

For data, or to build your own maps, choose Census Bureau home page .
Choose American FactFinder.
In FactFinder, use the Getting Detailed Data choices in the center of the screen:
Choose from "Decennial Census" > "get data"
Census 2000 Summary File 1 (SF 1) 100-Percent Data or Census 2000 Summary File 3 (SF 3) - Sample Data
For tract-level information: At "Select a geographic type", use the drop-down arrow button to choose "Census tract". The screen will change, leading you through choices to reach a list of census tracts. You may save or print the results.
For numerical tables, choose among the Data Sets listed. Each one takes you to a page listing all the sets. Select from them depending on what you need: Poverty info is in SF-3. This is the one most people need most frequently. Detailed population and race breakdown is in SF-1
